'Things Meeting Now' was co created by Alison and Bridget Currie. The work was performed at Michaelis Theatre Roehampton University London and redeveloped for a gallery setting and a new series of objects for performance at the Art Gallery of South Australia as part of Adelaide Festival event Versus Rodin curated by Leigh Robb. The work will be performed again at Artbank Sydney as part of ‘A Vacant Space’ curated by Eleanor Scicchitano 22nd November 2018.

Things meeting now was created for performance at Michaelis Theatre Roehampton University, London in 2015. It was re-developed for a different space and set of objects in 2017 for 'Versus Rodin' at the Art Gallery of South Australia. This footage is from the 2017 presentation.

‘Things Meeting Now’ is a collaborative project between siblings Alison and Bridget Currie, combining sculptural objects and movement derived from interactions between dancer and object. This work is a meeting of inanimate and animate, object and subject, alien and familiar, dance and sculpture.

This work is able to be performed with any set of objects, the choreography was adapted to utilise this larger sculpture for presentation at the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide.
